What does this mean? Is that file really somewhere? I feel confused and in pain
“This is really hidden very deep in the system” - can anyone tell me that this recording IS actually somewhere at least?
The CLI or terminal is also not there no more to open. What am i supposed to do? Developer mode?
Please tell me LIKE I’M 5 how to get this recording.
How does one do this?
Do you need the original file or is it enough to play the recording? What do you need to do with the file?
Can you play the recording by going Settings → Apps → Phone → Recorded calls?
If you want to access the file itself, enable developer mode and write this command on CLI:
devel-su
and enter your password. Then:
cd /home/defaultuser/.local/share/system/privileged/Phone/CallRecordings/
Then you can use commands like ls or ls -al to view the content(s) of the folder.

Did you open settings (it opens in “system”), tap on “Apps”, tap on “Phone”, go down to “Recorded calls”, tap on it?

Enough to play the recording at least! To record it with other device (apparently because C2 cant do that) (?)

I’m afraid to anything honestly. SO i don’t lose it.
You have recorded a call with your C2, and now you want to play that recording to re-record it with another device, because C2 can’t record calls? Either I’m not getting something or something is lost in translation here… Why wouldn’t you just copy the original file instead?
Can i tap that file to make it playback? To start recording it on other device?

You should see a list of files/recorded calls. tapping on them should make them play. Unless, you hit an old bug described elsewhere here on the forum…

tapping on it is 100% ok.
THE most important thing: that i do not lose this recording. Is it possible? What should i do? Tap the file and record on other device or what?
