Like Android apps have little (or none if I set shared folders to none) access to files outside WSA. Or need to wait some time for WSA to start when launching an Android app after reboot. Feels like a virtual machine…

AAS (ex-AlienDalvik) and Anbox / Waydroid (both with all Android apps installed) run inside an LXC container, which is a “light-weight virtual machine”. Any resource outside of a container has to be explicitly configured (in the container configuration, which is outside of the container, too) to make it available inside of such a container (e.g. a shared directory).
