Problems with BLE (Bluetooth low energy) and Sailfish

Hi there. I had a similar issue with the ProtoArc XK04 BLE keyboard. Interestingly, the keyboard connected successfully when starting the bluetoothd daemon manually after masking the systemd bluetooth service.

It turned out that the setting in /usr/lib/systemd/system/bluetooth.service: CapabilityBoundingSet=CAP_NET_ADMIN CAP_NET_BIND_SERVICE

is a bit too restrictive (and does not apply probably when you manually start bluetoothd). So either try with manual bluetoothd, or try to change the variable CapabilityBoundingSet, e.g. via a conf file in /etc/systemd/system/bluetooth.service.d/ :

[Service]
CapabilityBoundingSet=
CapabilityBoundingSet=CAP_NET_ADMIN CAP_NET_BIND_SERVICE CAP_SYS_ADMIN CAP_MKNOD CAP_DAC_OVERRIDE CAP_SYS_RESOURCE CAP_IPC_LOCK

At least for me that works. Perhaps you dont need all of them. Did not check them one-by-one as of today.
