Because a dedicated app will translate 5kb json into a silicalistview, vs 5mb of html that takes 30sec+ to render, you can also have custom features like notifications (good luck keeping your browser tab on and not suffering from oom killer even on 8gbs), having sfos native gestures instead of trying to click on a 2px links… But whatever, if you can spend 5x more time with browser then surely app is useless, just do your old guy thing
