Hello guys,
first of all I am very sorry about hijacking this thread dedicated to an Immich application of another developer who did an amazing job with his app.
I just wanted to share what I have done during the late evenings in the past weeks - I have started earlier than I saw this thread so it is a coincidence and also I do not physically own any Sailfish OS device (yet) so I was able to test all only through SDK emulator.
For now what I have is “timeline” feature with lazy loading of assets, memories functionality with slideshow.
Timeline allows you to show all, only favorites or only videos, each one could be sorted ascending or descending.
I allow to add assets to favorites/remove them from favorites.
There is a possibility of batch selecting the assets (by long press on the photo to initiate selection mode or long press on the date to batch select the whole group of assets from the same date).
You can then batch add/remove from favorites this selection, also you can create a share link for these assets which alows you to either copy the share link, open it in browser or have someone else scan it as QR.
There is a dedicated albums tab which allows you to click through to get to the photos in it and then allows same features as timeline (selection with share, favorites).
Search tab basically mimics what Immich does with its search on web interface, I have also added an option to sort the results.
Settings tab is just for some things left like how many assets you want to see in single row (affects size of both timeline and albums), thumbnail quality requested from the server and automatic refresh of the assets after certain time if necessary and some other server statistics.
I would probably like not to put it out yet because I have not tested it on any real device and I have some opened points I wanted to tackle, but I am just happy to share the progress.

Please tell me your most needed features in app, beyond those already planned on GitHub. I’m looking to implement some of the most anticipated things and begin develop local file syncing with Immich

Translations are missing entirely in-app, I see the raw keys.
Hotfix uploaded. Now app fallbacks to English when translation not found
