Just stumbled onto this thread and voted, but wanted to reiterate the support for an alpha “quick scroll” by letter on menus, and gapless playback. And to fix the random cover art display issue.
If we ever got these in media player, i would be beyond happy with it.

Edit: strongly recommend people to consider Flowplayer as an alternative again as it has gapless playback. It’s under new management since late 2023 and folks are actively improving it.
