Some of the text in that brotect glass protector is a bit off. In the description for example it says “The adhesive layer ensures that the BRO glides smoothly onto your Garmin nück 500 for BROTECT AirGlass allows adequate space for installing most cases.” Which I think might be leftover from their Garmin Nuvi 500 screen protector?

That’s my protector. All of the fuss was to create hype about it before release.
Either they are the manufacturer of the original protector by Jolla, or they asked for the size. It is common to release device specifications to manufacturers of third-party accessories (and that’s how many specs leak before release).

I think in every country there is someone who has a nano glass cutting machine; when you have the J2, you can probably make an arrangement with someone and have 10 screen protectors made. I think I will do it that way, because constantly ordering from a faraway place is illogical.

On amazon.com there are also cases, they show the back and it’s clearly the new phone.

Yes. I usually see more perspectives than others. This is confirmed by the fact that people usually call me to solve problems.

I made a statement: accessories are too expensive. Many people say they are not. That’s a subjective view.
Yesterday my 10V fell and the protector broke. With Jolla accessories it would have been a 40€ damage. With third parties it’s some euros and the fuss of replacement.
Generally speaking, this community has some members too vocal and single-minded. They are usually the same that reply harshly to newcomers with stuff like “did your search broke?” or “you don’t really need feature X, if you want it go back to Android”. This kind of people are useless to the community.
