Not sure why this would have changed between 4.2 and 4.3 though. It worked perfectly on 4.2 and all previous versions I’ve used back to 2.
Between 4.2 and 4.3, the upstream tzdata
package has been updated and it seems that Ireland time zone definition was changed for something that Qt 5.6 didn’t understand properly. It should be fixed in 4.4.

The next OS update 4.4.0 will have the fix for the issue with the Irish timezone.
I installed 4.3.0.15 today and it appears to have resolved this issue.
I have 4.3.0.15 and unfortunately I’m still seeing the issue.
OS update 4.4.0 will contain the fix for this issue.
After rebooting my phone all the alarms are displaying 2 as hours before the time they are set for, same as before. Guess I’ll have to go back to Canaries time until 4.4.0 comes out!
Installed 4.4.0.58 today and no problems so far. NTP active, Dublin/Ireland timezone.
In my case, it took Fnland timezone despite WLAN and GPS are switched on.
Moreover, everything included the clock work with the Finland time.
