It looks really good now, except maybe from one thing. I think the “popup” should be coloured (black?) background instead of transparent.
Just my personal opinion.
Thanks, yes it should be - and I tried that.
But unfortunately the DockedPanel can’t be coaxed into being non-transparent.
I’ll look at using a different element for this.
Check neliapila, it has dockedpanel for replying and it works well, I think it just slaps a rectangle into the panel as background and you can set gradient of that
Will look into that, thank you. I have a rectangle behind the text right now, but the gradient is way down in PanelBackground and not configurable.
Very handy and useful app, thanks!
I could notice by myself like said on post#1 some self updated packages.
But here, it happens while I had uninstalled the app some weeks earlier (harbour-mls-offline-fr) …bizarre.
Regarding the search option, which is very good, a strange thing:
If I search mls
, it won’t show the harbour-mls-offline-fr
.
But if I search harbour
or offline
, it will.
EDIT: oh, got it: 3 char search is too short.
A new version should appear on chum soon.
There are a lot of changes in there, hopefully it will fix the lipstick crash as well but as I could never reproduce it I can’t be sure.
Caveat emptor
A new version has been put on Chum Testing: 0.11.1
After hearing this tool proved helpful in some failed update scenarios, it has now gained the capability to display problems logged in the history file, such as scriptlet failure messages.
Please test.
I love this app, but will not attempt a failed update for testing, sorry, had my share already
Heh.
You don’t need a failed update to look at the messages though
yeah i know was just kidding (mostly, would prefer no failed updates wholeheartedly)
but btw, is there any chance of getting 5.15 working on tablet without breaking it’s wifi?
I don’t think I follow.
5.15 of what? Qt? Which Tablet?
Jolla Tablet, trying to run angelfish complains about QtCore…so and lists a bunch of files missing(and also bricks the tablet from booting without cable plugged in, so didn’t really explore it that far lol)
