As per above - it turned out not to be needed. The GUI could input prefix matches just fine.
But in general you would use dconf read/write for the paths mentioned above.

No, but i’m not interested in creating a patch mess.
But also as per above, the only thing it would do is a bit of polish… there wasn’t really that much missing. I guess if you are interested in the whitelisting capability it would make sense to add to the gui.
