As obsolete for some time already.
If I look at the chum gui installer it shows the latest version release Nov 2024:
“harbour-storeman-installer-2.3.0-release10.noarch.rpm 25/11/2024”
but the statement quoted above in Feb 2025 shows Chum as:
“not yet available for 5.0”.
…i am confused?
I edited my former message to clear any confusion. Better now?
The SailfishOS 5.0 specific repositories have been established some weeks ago.
Yes, this is the most recent one.
Mind that neither the SailfishOS:Chum GUI Installer, the Storeman Installer or the SailfishOS:Chum GUI application (have to) “know” specific SailfishOS version numbers. They all simply determine the version number of the installed SailfishOS release and try to access a corresponding repository at the SailfishOS-OBS. If that is not yet there, this action will fail (and you should manually select a prior SailfishOS release version number in the SailfishOS:Chum GUI app, after downloading and installing it manually).
thank you, makes sense now.
installed, and much appreciated.
