(gallery) impossible to delete items in last row

UI LANGUAGE: Italiano (user: it_IT, os: it_IT.utf8)

DESCRIPTION:

Seems like in gallery is impossible to delete items in last row. When you tap on one of them they get highlighted for the usual long tap swipe menu, but instead of items going up for showing the menu, they jurt stay there and the menu is created off screen, so it can’t be used at all

PRECONDITIONS:

Of course you need a certain amount of items to have more than a single screen of rows

STEPS TO REPRODUCE:

  1. Open gallery
  2. Select an item on the last row
  3. Tap on it to make the menu appear
  4. See the menu appearing off screen

EXPECTED RESULTS:

I did expect the item to go up, like every other part in the system, and the menu to show

ACTUAL RESULTS:

No menu did appear as it’s rendered off screen

MODIFICATIONS:

  • Patchmanager: no
  • OpenRepos: yes
  • Chum: yes
  • Other: none specified

Thanks for reporting (and using my app :wink: )!

Looks like this is a duplicate of Cannot delete very first (at the very bottom) video / image / screenshot in the Gallery App which is marked “tracked”.
(There’s another duplicate in [4.4.0.64] Unable to delete the last row (oldest) of Photo / Video in gallery)

Same with Xperia 10II on the latest OS version 4.5.0.24

However, I found that if I use the pulley menu to “Select photos” then scroll to the last image at the bottom and tap on the image, a grey bar appears with a bin icon, the image can then be deleted.

i would just add picture posting, but i guess it can be done in the confirmation page on the browser

anyway, yeah seems it’s a duplicate, didn’t see that, my bad
