To delete stored FP and start all fingerprint thing over again, one useful sequence is, as root (devel-su + password):

systemctl stop sailfish-fpd
/usr/libexec/sailfish-fpd/fpslave --remove-all
/usr/libexec/sailfish-fpd/fpslave --flush-cache
systemctl start sailfish-fpd
