DESCRIPTION:

A tab on the share icon in the file browser results in the message: “Could not open page”

PRECONDITIONS:

STEPS TO REPRODUCE:

  1. Start File Browser
  2. Tab a file
  3. Tab share icon

EXPECTED RESULT:

Share page shown

ACTUAL RESULT:

Page with Could not open page shown

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:

Message in terminal: unknown: 1283 - file:///usr/lib64/qt5/qml/Sailfish/Silica/PageStack.qml:1283:13: QML AnimatedLoader: (file:///usr/lib64/qt5/qml/Sailfish/TransferEngine/SharePage.qml: File not found)

I confirm I can reproduce this on XA2 4.3.

Seems to be a known bug . See Broken sharing system.

It’s an improvement that was introduced in release 4.2.0, the app developer has to update his app in order to make it work again: https://forum.sailfishos.org/t/sailfish-share-api-and-sailfish-webview/8494
