Ferry Sync (Cloud File Sync)

How do I set the filter if I don’t want to sync the underlying subfolders?

Like this?

/*

For example, the Webbrowser directory contains the bookmark.json. With the normal configuration, it also syncs the cache subdirectory, which isn’t needed.

The pattern /* matches the entries at the top level, so as an exclude rule it would drop bookmark.json too. A * never matches across /, which is why that pattern doesn’t reach into the subfolder.

You can try this pattern options instead:

Skip all subfolders but Sync top Level Files:

- /*/**

Skip one Folder

- /cache/**

can you please include support for My Backup?

temporally i edited desktop file, did not tested the restore especially if encrypted rclone config will work, but it should i think :wink: … also in case restoring to another device i am not sure if sync will not do some mess because of same id of sync pair? but my goal is to have backup not for another device, but for device replacement in case of device loss or brick.

[X-HarbourBackup]
BackupPathList=.config/harbour-ferry/:.local/share/harbour-ferry/

ah yes - good idea - i put it on the list for next version :ok_hand:t2:

A small feature request, if I may.
Would it be possible to add an option for naming the sync folder pairs?
It would be helpful for housekeeping, especially once there will be an option to delete local files with one-way sync, then having them merged into a different local folder via a two-way sync folder pair, so there could be a “whatever_upload” and a “whatever” folder pair, instead of two of the same name.
