Default Camera black screen, but works in Advanced camera app!

I have a problem with default camera, this used to work. 3rd party apps that use camera are working (Advnaced Camera, Fotokopierer, etc…

How do i reset default jolla camera app ?.

I have rebooted the phone few times and even tried “Reset device”, the later did not work to my surprise and all installed apps and accounts were there after reboot !!!.

What device, what os, what config, when problem come to existance, preconditions, worked before? Never worked? Working with app support (if installed)?

Redmi miatoll community port OS 5.0.0.67.

Camera used to work till the OS shut itself due to low battery.

There’s a folder named camera in

/home/defaultuser/.cache/com.jolla
/home/defaultuser/.config/com.jolla
/home/defaultuser/.local/share/com.jolla

I suggest you rename that folder to something else and restart your phone. If it helps you can delete it.

dconf reset -f /apps/jolla-camera/

deleting the camera folder did the trick. strangely all 3 folders were empty.

~/.cache/com.jolla/camera
~/.config/com.jolla/camera
~/.local/share/com.jolla/camera

Did not help, may be dconf reset -f /apps/jolla-camera/ is for officially supported devices.
