Some details about the topic: At year end there will be no SF device that can make calls due to 3G shutdown.

There is no SF device with 4G Volte configured. Sony do not include any config for markets they do not retail into. (Appalling for a “global” brand really)
I am fairly sure that the required config info can be obtained from the carriers.
What is the process for adding a carrier config?
Does it require a Qualcomm encryption key and qualcomm sdk?
Does is require Sony’s key? Can only Sony do it?
Can Jolla do it?
Can users do it?
(My phone is X10III)
Will/are Jolla’s own phones be similarly unable to work outside europe?
Can they roam globally?
