At least I`ve seen in the code of the gallery-app was handling for a keys-only-device added recently. That only makes sense for the commodore callback I think.

Except someone is trying to port SFOS to some HMD-Nokia or so, but that’s really exciting, thank you for sharing!
Did anyone go to Gamescom and actually hold it in their hands? What I’ve read so far was something like: “I was able to boot it up and play around with the menus a bit, but German SIM cards didn’t work.” On the other hand, Commodore posted something like “call us at Gamescom,” but maybe that was just a pun.

I want one just to see the expression of custom agents when travelling through UK, France, Russia, USA.. etc…. it may drastically reduce time and tell you “okay move along…” 
Edit: Also, I’m curious to see if I am making a call in Paris and London, how many phone thieves would actually eye me to steal it?

Oh, they want to start shipping in september, but the software seems to need big steps to be ready. That review is written in a positive attitude, but it doesnt sound that good to me.

Two things caught my attention: 1. Shipments starting in late October, 2. The basic apps look very Sailfish-like. It looks like there’s a (customized?) version of Silica in the works.

Was there any statement whose repositories the phone SFOS will pull software from?
I wonder if there will be any. I haven’t read that there won’t be, but the only thing I’ve read from Commodore website, emails, and blogs is that there will be a “Commostore” for approved apps. I personally read this to mean Android apps for the Callback, not native SFOS applications.
TL;DR, I guess I got nothing but WAGs.
With custom version of the Jolla Store app and hosting their own repo, Commodore could serve both native and Android apps they approve from one store.

If you refer to the last option listed in the page you quoted, it is only for their staff. I’m a normal citizen (who needs to interact with the EU services regularly).
I’m referring to this option:
Security key, Trusted Platform (TPM) or passkey – Phishing-resistant authentication based on cryptographic credentials, which can be securely stored on a physical security key, a device’s built-in security hardware (such as a TPM), or a supported smartphone.
This includes Yubikeys etc.
Alright but the status of Yubikeys on SFOS is still of a Feature Request: Yubikey support or apparently it has stopped working at some point and there is no solution for now.
