There is a very nasty bug present in SailfishOS that is preventing me from using my phone normally.
Every couple of minutes, my cellular data refuses to connect to any new domains. The odd thing is that websites I have already visited shortly before stay reachable. Any new domains are problematic however.
The only fix known to me is to shortly turn my mobile data off and on again, but having to do this every couple of minutes is impractical.
I have tested this on two SailfishOS phones. Both have the exact same issue, while on Android there aren’t any issues present at all.
Does anyone have any pointers I can look into or hints for additional troubleshooting?
It just drops the cellular connection, but only partly. The websites I’m visiting at that moment keep working, but new domains don’t. That part especially is very odd and I have no idea what can cause something like this.
I have tested it both on an Xperia 10 II and an Xperia 10 V. Both are running on version 5.0.0.62 (Tampella), but I have tried it with the 10 V on version 4.6.0.15 as well.
The provider is Vodafone. On my previous provider’s network these issues were not present.
The browser doesn’t matter. Firefox, Chromium or whatever. There are problems both on the hotspot and on the device itself (hotspot is most problematic though as I’m pretty dependent on it).
