There is no “release of C2” out there. Today we have Tampella 5.0.0.29 for Jolla C2 which is a Release Candidate (or RC). This “Release Candidate” is rolled out to the reference phone C2 now and the community is invited to test all and create fancy bug reports. Sure soon we see the next step of SFOS 5: the beta release called EA. In former SFOS versions this RC-releases will only available for special registered user (see the developer option in settings if you want to join).
So today we see the idea of a reference device working. The bunch of early testers is much bigger than in former times. For me this will improve SFOS for all of us. So thanks for your support!

Sound (good?). But, so, WHEN can we expect the camera to work to film video without crashing?

Exactly in the moment problem is identified and fixed and the update is released.
What part of beta testing don’t you understand? If you want this to work so badly provide your own intput!
If unable, wait.
