For me it was the same problem. I reflashed the device starting from 3.3.0.16 and got a very interesting behaviour:
- first I installed android at 3.3.0.16 and update after this to 3.4.0.22 => android support is broken, there is flickering one app again and again
- then I reflashed 3.3.0.16 again updated to 3.4.0.22, installed android support => working very well now, no flickering app
