Android Support for Android APK 21

Hi,

I just learned that I am not able to use my banking app any longer. The new App requires Andriod APK 21 support and SFOS currently seems to be on APK 19. Will there be an update to APK 21 or can I do an update myself?

Which device? Xperia X is supported until Android 4.4, the phones above are supporting Android 8

I am using a Jolla C. Is Android 8 equal to APK 21 or higher?

Just found the answer to my question here:

  • Android 8.1.0 “Oreo” on Xperia XA2 and Xperia 10 (*)
    • API level (SDK version) 27
  • Android 4.4.4 “Kit-Kat” on Xperia X, Jolla Tablet and Jolla C
    • API level (SDK version) 19
  • Android 4.1.2 “Jelly Bean” on Jolla Phone
    • API level (SDK version) 16

So looks like I need a new phone… I Already look at the XA2 and Xperia 10 but did not really like them. Hope there is something new coming along.

Isn’t Jolla C an Intex aquafish with Jolla Branding?
