Take a look back at 2010 then :nostalgy:
It had both sides equipped with a speaker.
So I would not wonder if some Maemo code is making use of those two HW provided speakers?

Perhaps I wasn’t entirely clear: the ‘top speaker’ I’m referring to is just the speaker every phone has that lets you hear what the other person is saying in a phone call, but apparently on the Xperia 10 II, that little speaker is powerful enough to use as a loudspeaker, just like on the Xperia X. Even better is that it adds bass to the sound that the bottom speaker is unable to produce.
