Works alright

Maybe checking permissions might help.

How to check these at command line?

I do not know vow to check these settings using the cli.

It sounds a duplicate of this other bug report Weather Display on Events Screen Constantly Loses Network Connection

Thanks for the report @playforvoices. To reiterate what I put on the other thread, we’ve made some changes to try to help with the weather update, which should make it in to the next release.

If you’re able to test this again after the next release, and feedback your experiences here, that would be very useful.

wont find location on mobile network

Hi,
i found the same problem with my Xperia 10 III.
Is there any solution?

I had the same problem with the weather widget on xA2+, 4.5.0.19.
Also at the same time problem with the Store, update failed after trying for about a minute and installing apps didn’t work.
Then I tried Settings->Utilities->Package cache->Clear.
After some time these problems were gone.
Now weather widget works also with Wlan and update in the Store succeeded.

I’m experimenting this issue too…
Xperia 10 III

This helped !!! I could fix it…
But appeared again…

Clearing the package cache forces a reboot, right? Are you sure it is not the reboot itself that does it? The package cache has nothing to do with the weather data…

I wonder if it is something akin to this: Jolla Store connection does not survive changing connection - together.jolla.com

Which i’m still seeing BTW - it often plain refuses to load the first several minutes after changing connection, despite pretty much everything else working.
