Voicecall UI not appearing when VoLTE is enabled & trying to call

DESCRIPTION:

I have now stumbled upon this bug a few times when trying to call someone using the Phone application and picking a number from the recent calls list. Basically the voicecall UI where the controls for dialing, muting, stopping the call etc. are not appearing at all and it happens only if VoLTE is enabled. I’ve tested couple of times taking the VoLTE off and there is no issue after that. The calls work normally though but no UI for call controls is displayed.

PRECONDITIONS:

VoLTE enabled

STEPS TO REPRODUCE:

1. Make sure the VoLTE is enabled and registered
2. Open Phone application
3. Select from the recent calls list a person / number
4. Make a call

EXPECTED RESULT:

Voicecall UI should appear with the controls for muting, dialing etc.

ACTUAL RESULT:

No voicecall UI appears and the Phone application displays the recent calls list. The call seems to work normally though.

MODIFICATIONS:

No relevant modifications

Here’s Journal log, not sure if it helps. I am using Finnish operator Elisa.
