Just don’t let your AI near developer mode and you will be fine. It is the way for CLI access.
Disable developer mode and add the terminal app to the pulley menu that is available on the lock screen.
You can now still run the terminal app, but only from the lock screen, from the pulley menu.
It is a little-known feature, only known by true fans of Sailfish OS 
So you mean you give any stranger who picks up your phone shell access?
Not sure that’s a very smart configuration…
