Time on call view not updated through the call duration

DESCRIPTION:

On the ongoing call view time is shown in the upper right corner. Its value is not updated during the call, and it will keep showing time when the call was initiated.

PRECONDITIONS:

STEPS TO REPRODUCE:

  1. start a call
  2. observe the time in the upper right corner
  3. let the call last at least a minute

EXPECTED RESULT:

The time is updated through the call.

ACTUAL RESULT:

The time is not updated despite the fact that the call elapsed duration is.

It is not meant to be updated, that time shows the time you started the call, nothing else. I tried to establish this on an original thread when we used TJC (together.jolla.com); The clock is not updated during a call. [closed] - together.jolla.com

Well, then IMHO this is misleading. 1. time value without specification usually means the current time, unless this was printed on a paper. 2. this would make it a duplicate information considering there has already been a timer counter in the view.

I am also confused by this from time to time and missed appointments because of that. Why is this shown where usually the clock is?
