Just a heads up, deloptes is an old school internet troll. Save you breath, he doesn’t want to interact, he doesn’t want to debate. He wants to throw his offensive opinions around and then complain about cancel culture when people don’t like it.

There’s a difference between political discourse and screaming at the traffic. You can have a proper discussion with the latter, and not with the former.
There’s a classic internet saying that I think is apt here.

They only say what they say for attention and nothing more. If someone is booting off at you, insulting you, then all they are looking for is a reaction. Ignoring is the best medicine.

Holy crap, at first I thought this was a good idea to keep the other threads clear. Now I’m wondering if I really want to share the passion for a surveillance-free/poor OS with some of these people, or if I should find a quieter place and get a dumbphone.

When I was younger, I wrote poems. Well, I still write poems, but not with the frequency of those days. It is possible that I used similar language in a poem. It is very unlikely that you have read it there.
