ehhh, with their current aim at being more progressive than US maybe (ESG was all the rage thanks to USAID, US abandoned it just like willy nilly, now every EU company needs to have a ESG bureaucrat to count how much CO2 their HR is spending, is there enough colored people and LGBT? are you a military company, are your grenades killing enough racially diverse people? yeah thank you EU for making this into law, US was promoting this and then just stopped talking about it, we get it mandated, so much for EU competitiveness, we need more bureaucrats)

After 1945 modern Europe is product of the democrats - they were useless in the US and were send to do their thing in Europe … together with the rest of the Nazis (Western Europe was never denazified) and the mixed up with the former aristocrats and big industry owners … it became what it is now for a good reason - a bunch of hypocrites who managed to turn the people away from god, make them believe in socialism just to brain wash them (I actually would argue they are totally brainless on the left) so that we have such discussions in this forum and the bunch of developers in Jolla can not bring up working version of SFOS for … let me think … 12y now. According to the facts, it’s the other way around. RU never wanted to force anyone in speaking Russian. I know that, because in those parts of UA there are many ethnic Bulgarians living there since couple of hundreds years ago, disciples of whom - the sources of that information - are friends of mine.
UA-officials wanted to ban even Bulgarian, still our diplomats managed to stop that.

Exactly, when the Ukrainians banned russian language, they banned also minorities languages as well, such as romanian, hungarian, slovakian, bulgarian or polish. And they still wonder why some of their neighbors, still NATO members do not support them unconditionally. But yeah, @explit as Ukrainian with russian as mother language (how is this, as I thought in Ukraine they speak ukrainian and russian is only for the assholes), failed to mention this, that minorities are literally fucked in nowadays Ukraine (I don’t speak about russian minority).

Why is that? Serbia was always an allied of Russia, and that stage was part of NATO expansion to the east. EX-yugoslavian republics such as Slovenia, Croatia, Montenegro and North Macedonia are already NATO members. Bosnia is aspiring member, Kosovo is defacto occupied by ‘peace keeping’ NATO members and will join soon the organisation. Remains only Serbia, which nowadays has a revolution with corruption as fighting motto which will bring in power de right people to cut the ties with bad very bad Russia. Further east: Bulgaria, Hungary and Romania are already NATO members. The map will be completed with the fall of Ukraine. Moldova is already shiting it’s pants and joint the western orientation. Maybe with a future ‘union’ with Romania they will be part of NATO. Anyway, Russia long term is fucked.
