Took me a while to do it, but I just pushed a version, which has a support for downloading songs. Its not a full release, so I did not push it to openrepos, but you can find it in my releases. Its 0.11.0-2 Making sure you’re not a bot! .

This version is only downloading songs to ~/.config/Submusic/submusic/downloads// ( internal config folder )

Just a small niggle: the canonical (freedesktop XDG spec) location for app data would be under ~/.local/share/Submusic.
