Sadly I learned today that a key and Core APP for me in Denmark (MitId) will not be supported on Jolla Sailfish anytime soon. So I had to send shop@jolla.com a request for a refund including my order and payment documentation. Would anybody in the forum know if that is the correct procedure? Thanks for any hints on this.
The MitID app may not be guaranteed to work on Sailfish, but there are official ways to use MitID without the app. If MitID can be used with a code display or code reader, you can still use the Jolla phone as a daily phone; the MitID approval would simply be done through a separate physical device.
Hi, I am not Danish, but I did a little research. It seems to be a kind of official national app; many countries have something like this. I had a similar problem in my own country too, but I solved it with this kind of solution. I suggest you also look into this situation. When I researched a little, I found some things.
Yes, contacting shop@jolla.com with your order/payment details is the right way to start the refund process. Just don’t send the device back before Jolla confirms the return and gives instructions.
