Reflashing SONY Xperia 10 III with bootloader already unlocked

Hi everybody,

as I ordered my Jolla Phone 2026 I can let go of my SONY Xperia 10 III that I flashed SFOS onto to try out the OS.

As far as I know there is no way to go back to Android to be able to offer the device to Android users, so I would reflash SFOS for folks interested in getting a good piece of hardware with the OS already installed.

What do I have to be careful about when trying to reflash?

The bootloader is obviously already unlocked - anything I have to take care of regarding the bootloader when flashing?

Anything else? Can I just flash using the very same script that I used initially?

You can either revert your device to Android or reinstall Sailfish OS by following the instructions in this guide:

If you decide to restore Android, don’t forget to relock the bootloader before selling the device.

Thank you very much, that’s indeed helpful information I probably would have missed.
