I just saw that the shop has removed the payment option “wire transfer”. While this option was far from ideal (running via the UK when I remember right, resulting in some costs (about 7 EUR for the OS purchase over 50 EUR)), for a person like me who does not want use paypal nor credit cards, but wants to use the digital euro (well it is not ready now) the only very costly option.
Since this a Finnish company with a Finnish UID I really wonder why I cannot make a wire transfer, which is very common in Austria and Germany. Maybe a little old fashioned, but now we have realtime transfers (within 15 seconds) without informing hundreds of data dealers in the universe.
And I also wonder…I have written this twice to the shop-email in 4 days or so…maybe someone reads it here… …
or maybe support https://www.klarna.com ? should be available in the uk.
did use this a few days ago the first time and it was surprisingly easy to use for payment (transaction germany<>uk was instant. but was only a small amount)
yap. And since Klarna aquired sofort, and Klarna services (pay later, sofort etc) could be plugged into shopify, it would be possible to instantly do bank transfers.
