REPRODUCIBILITY: 100% (always)
OSVERSION: 5.1.0.11
HARDWARE: Fairphone 5 - fp5 - fp5 - 1.0.1.2 - aarch64
UI LANGUAGE: English (US) (user: en_US, os: en_US.utf8)

Three digit temperatures overflow their columns and the degrees symbol wraps around to a third row. See screenshot.

PRECONDITIONS:

Recent-ish versuin of Sfos weather app

STEPS TO REPRODUCE:

1.Set weather app unit to Fahrenheit .
2.Select a location with forecast temps above 99F.
3. Swipe to events view to observe issue.

EXPECTED RESULTS:

Text should reflow or rescale or otherwise not spill over awkwardly with a third digit in the temp.

ACTUAL RESULTS:

Three digit temps render awkwardly - see screenshot

ADDONS:

  • AAS Bluetooth Bridge: no

MODIFICATIONS:

  • Patchmanager: yes
  • OpenRepos: yes
  • Chum: yes
  • Other: none specified

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:

I’ve only tested so far on a Fairphone 5

Pretty sure this is a regression from old version of weather, but I don’t have a screenshot to double check that memory.

I also suspect the same issue would occur with weather units set to Celsius (except that no users have yet survived those conditions to report it…)

I have tried to replicate this but haven’t been able to set the location to Venus.

That’s MeeCast’s widget, actually.

Abu Dhabi has some triple digits in freedom units incoming, but yeah no such bug in jolla’s weather widget, it’s meecast issue

Right you are! I swear I switched, but now I find I can’t even run the sfos weather for getting a blank white page – well that’s a different issue to chase down . . .

Reinstalling the weather app via Store has fixed white screen issue for me as well.

Thanks for this^^^, I don’t need to go down this rabbit hole, then.
