Media control on lockscreen from android apps and browser (native and adroid) not working - 4.4.0.72

REPRODUCIBILITY: 100%
OS VERSION: 4.4.0.72 and 4.4.064
HARDWARE: Xperia 10II
UI LANGUAGE: German
REGRESSION: Media Controls not working on lockscreen

DESCRIPTION:

While playing music via the Sonos Android app the Phone and the Phone gets into lockscreenmode it self or it gets activated by user, the lockscreencontrols for the Mediaplayer are shown correctly, but they are not usable. there is no reaction from the controls on the lockscreen. you have to login to the phone first and stop music via app itself.

while playing a Musicpodcast on youtube via the latest Firefox browser (105.1.0) like “abgt 500” for example, ging to lockscreen via ON/Off button, stops the video and insted off mediacontrols there is an URL Link shown, without the possibility to start the podcast. (it worked in earlier versions of the OS)

I also tried it out with Poweramp Mediaplayer (Android). on Lockscreen there are no controlbuttons shown, only the title of the currently played track.

PRECONDITIONS:

install Sonos app. install Firefox Browser

STEPS TO REPRODUCE:

  1. Install Sonos Android App and use it (sonos system required) go to lockscreen via on/off button. Mediacontrols on lockscreen are not working.
  2. open firefox browser and start a musicpodcast (2 hours or so) go to lockscreen via on/off button. Playback stops, instead of mediacontrols there is an URL Link shown. No media control possible.
  3. Install Poweramp mediaplayer and play a track. go to lockscreen via On/Off button. no controls shown

EXPECTED RESULT:

Media control should work as befor with the sonos app and other android Media apps and alos with browsers.

media controll currently works only with Native apps (Quasar MX)

Native sailfish Browser does not stop the playback of a youtube podcatst when going to lockscreen via on/off button. the media controls are not shown.

ACTUAL RESULT:

a very inconsistent behaviour between android media apps ans native apps alos between browsers with open media sites.
