No, it’s a physical button you can press, which itself is called the ‘Privacy switch’, and based on the strings, there will be a menu where you can select which actions need to be executed when you press the button. A lot of the actions are things like ‘Turn off microphone’ or ‘Disable AppSupport’, and you can even tell it to turn on Silent mode. You could probably also call it the “Shut up and go away” button depending on which actions you tell it to execute.

I forgot to answer this one sorry. That’s a generic “Something happened concerning this person” notification - a fallback if the case isn’t handled explicitly. I got one the other day when I got added to a list, and I heard of one when someone you follow is on a server that your server is now banned. The full set seems very extensible to a fallback is needed.
@abranson, it looks like csd is only available for translation in Chinese. Is that intentional?
Yes, CSD is intentionally not included in most languages, as it is mainly hardware testing tool for production and there is not much benefit for translating it.
The sailfish-privacyswitch component got couple of new strings related to VPN.
String “Enabling default VPN connection configured to privacy switch but there is no default connection set” is a bit unclear and long at least to me.
For me also, I was not sure how to translate it properly
It is the description in notification which is shown when VPN is enable in privacy mode settings and privacy mode is turned on, but there is no default VPN connection selected.
I added UK English translation for it, which should be slightly clearer.
I just looked at the styling guide for my language because I may be interested in doing some translating work and I found two errors in the following sections:
Die Kontoeinstellungen un di in … festgelegt –> Die Kontoeinstellungen werden in … festgelegt
Verwend du hierzu das Menü „Einstellungen“ –> Verwende hierzu das Menü „Einstellungen“ Source
Now i know i could fork the github repo to fix this myself, but i’m not exactly keen on doing that just for these two spelling errors. So how do i report this so it gets fixed?
Fix it yourself is the easiest way. Ask for translation role and login.
