Just, don’t fiddle when it’s too late in the night!
I usually backup and restore my XA2 by making/restoring an image of /dev/mmcblk0p76 with dd in recovery boot mode.
This time, I restored the image to /dev/mmcblk0 instead of /dev/mmcblk0p76 
Emma can not help. I believe Emma is not flashing the whole filesystem. Anyhow, Emme can not flash because IMEI is N/A.
Is there any hope or should I just place the XA2 into the spare parts box?
