Jolla's original Gallery and ALARM app improvement

I know that i can install “Imageworks” app from Jolla store and crop pictures with it.
It would be much better if the Gallery would have freestyle crop. That i can actually resize and select area.

Let’s say i will wake up before there was actual alarm. It would be better to push the alarm once and it will ask if we take the alarm away for everyday or only skip this morning. So by default tomorrow there would be alarm again :slight_smile:

If you long press your alarm you can open an edit menu with repeat options dependent on the day of the week

Yes, but the request is about this situation:

  • You have an alarm set to 7.00 every Monday and Tuesday.
  • You wake up and manage to get out of bed on Monday at 6.50, so you don’t want the alarm to go off anymore, because at that point you might be in the shower and your phone will just wake everyone else up.

Currently, the only way to stop the alarm from running is:

  • Go to the Clock app.
  • Tap the alarm to turn it off.

The problem is that this turns the alarm off completely, so you need to remember to turn it on again after 7.00, otherwise you won’t get an alarm on Tuesday. Therefore, a feature to turn an upcoming alarm off just once would be quite useful.

@tsaknorris Could you split the request for the Gallery app into a separate topic? (Or have a search if anyone else has requested it already, it sounds like someone must have already.) Multiple requests per topic are hard to keep track of.

I also made Doom for Jolla :smiley: But you have to get official wads….plaaplaaplaa…
FreeDoom is ready to play and it is easy to give the wad file location for other versions.
Package Description: “Jolla is nice phone, but can it run Doom?” xDddd
I haven’t add it to Jolla store… I can give URL later… It’s at home and not in my work computer.

Have you tested it yet? I like it! I would like to add a new feature for Android support as well…. It is a shame that the alarm and android support are closed-source. :confused:

I have this problem from time to time as well. I wake up before the alarm goes off. There’s no way to stop an upcoming single alarm just before the time without disable the alarm completely (and forgetting to on it again afterwards)
