Keep us updated if your phone resolved the dust issue…
Ok, no problem. But I think so. Jolla wrote the official email because of the delay to fix some problems. We go to holidays end of the week and the phone delivery will take 10 days to Germany. I will write end of september. More patience is needed. The video from Nikolai did make me hot about the phone
.
Just received tracking for #80xx (Batch #2, 2025 December preorder).
@ropeta Let us know if your phone doesn’t build up dust in the lense…
Sure. Just note my plan is to use it as a primary device for at least a month and I wont be in a hurry to draw any conclusions until then.
My order is #219XX, batch 3. Are they really shipping #80XX now? In that case my phone is a long way off still, or am i looking at the wrong number?
You should look at your preorder #
Is that correct, the preorder number?
Where do i find it? Is it the JOLLA-PHONE-BATCH3-8T62J… thing? Lots of non-numbers in there.
There you can find the preorder number. Order number for your voucher also.
I can’t, but it’s OK. It arrives when it arrives ![]()
Edit: oh, it might be the #14XXX, feb 26.
Yes. That’s your order #
but you will know within a week if the dust issue has been resolved…
Just received tracking for Batch # 2 #82xx..
I think this means that over 4k phones shipped ![]()
I don’t think their slowness is because they’re late or because of packaging the phones. If that were the case, a lot of people wouldn’t be receiving their accessories incomplete. So it seems like they’re proceeding in a controlled way with production and logistics, both to avoid disrupting cash flow and to balance the cancellation rate. Also, with issues like the dust problem in the front camera, instead of having everyone experience the same problem at once, they can send phones out little by little, receive complaints gradually, and fix the issue immediately in the next production batch. In short, people are getting their orders late because they’re trying to balance the logistics ![]()

Did you read that explanation somewhere?
I must have missed some readings.
Ah no, people sometimes wonder, you know, things like why it was delayed, why my accessory arrived missing, and so on. That’s why I thought about what the reason could be, and logically, this is what I came up with. I mean, if that weren’t the case, why would it go Batch 1, 2, 3, 4? Even from that alone, what I mean is pretty much obvious, actually.
Because you can’t assemble, package and deliver 15 000 phones at once just by magically snapping your fingers?
