Hi everyone!
I hope anyone can point me in the right direction or has had/solved a similar issue: inbound and outbound calls are not working on my phone.
When I try to call someone:
- after starting, the phone shows a 4G connection
- when initiating an outbound call (sim card 1, vodafone.de, sim card 2 not used) the network icon in the top status bar of the phone disappears
- on the other end of the line the call is not coming through, i.e. no phone rings
- after an outbound call, the mobile network is not available some a minute or so, then it is again set to 4G
Now when receiving an inbound call:
- before dialing the phone again shows 4G
-when the call (supposedly) reaches the sony modile phone, the mobile network switches to 2.5G - the sony does not ring
- the vodafone mailbox takes the call
- after some time the sony does not show 2.5G anymore, no mobile network for some seconds (half a minute)
- then 4G is available again and an SMS notification from vodafone mailbox ois received that there was a missed call.
SMS is working (also outbound).
When i turn off WLAN, and I only have 4G as a network, datatransfers for browser, messenger etc. is not working, even if there is no “no network” message.
I have installed Sailfish OS on a new phone, which I was running a day before with a SIM card and I used all the services (GPS, Phone call in- outbound, networing with/without WLAN etc.) for a day before installing the Sailfish OS. Everything worked on the phone.
The original installation was OS 5.0.0.72. I already had issues with hone calls there
Today there was an update to Sailfish OS 5.0.0.76(Tampella), and the behaviour as described above, I hoped it would be fixed 
…..
So if anyone had such issues or has an idea in what direction a fix could go, I would appreciate any tipps!
