Hello.
I am working with a device based on Sailfish 3.0 (INOI R7) and today I had problems connecting the device to the Sailfish SDK version 1807 (targets to build for Sailfish OS 2.2.1.18). My host OS is macOS 15.7.2.
I understand that these Sailfish OS and SDK versions are already deprecated, but my job forces me to use them and the possibility of updating is not considered.
The core of my problem is that I cannot establish a connection from the Sailfish SDK to the device for deploying my application. Previously, this functionality worked correctly with the same SDK and Sailfish OS versions.
I am trying to add a new device in the settings of the Sailfish SDK, specify the IP address of the device on my network, as well as the password for SSH connection, and when I try to connect, the message “Host unreachable” is recieved instantly (see screenshot). The developer mode and SSH remote connection are configured on the device. At the same time, the SSH connection from the terminal of my host machine is working. So the problem is not about SSH on my host.
I tried deleting the Sailfish SDK, clearing the configuration directory ~/.config/SailfishOS-SDK/, and reinstall it again. However, this did not bring results. The error is here.
Has anyone encountered such a problem, or is there any suggestion that I can try to solve it?
