How do you enter that menu? For me it just say “SIM 1 - unknown” nd no sub menues (despite being the same provider as yours, O”)

“Security” → “Emergency”

NOT: “Connectivity” → “SIM cards” as one might expect

Is that new? On the C2 (5.1.0.11) I only have an entry “Cell broadcast” where I subscribed to the channell 0-9999 - but nothing else. And no entry “Security → Emergency”.

Yes, like from 5.2.x.

Thank you, so I am very keen if that works with 5.2.

I at least understood it like next update should further improve the emergency message situation:

Ah, found it. But I still only have one global option to receive emergency alerts

Click on the words “Emergency alerts” and you will see! Click now!

Great, now I found it. Interestingly test alerts are not preselected

Didn’t receive it.

One reason could be that at the same time I got a critical alert from an EinsatzApp, but still IMO SFOS should take the critical cell broadcast over anything else.

All alerts were activated (see screenshot from Post #1 above)

That’s a regression compared with my XZ2 Compact, on which I received the last cell-broadcast warnings, without a warning sound on 12.09.2024 with SFOS 4.6.0.13. Since then switching to the Jolla C2 and now JP2026, I haven’t received any, so something seems to have changed in SFOS since version 4.6.0.13.

Did not receive it. That’ a regression compared to my XA2 Ultra, where I received cell broadcast warnings (without a warning sound however)

Device JP 2026

SFOS v 5.2.0.17

Provider O2

I am not sure if the Bundes Test Emergency uses the same channel as the Landes Test Emergency (which did work on the old device)

At least Apocalypse App sent me the warning, better than nothing

My JP 2026 stayed silent - all alerts were activated for both SIM cards
