Finnish OP-Mobiili

Older versions still work with ptrace hack. But yeah, I highly recommend to send critical feedback to OP

Guess I’ll have to do that.

Aurora store version lookup shows nothing, but after some trial and error I found that 84.0.0 / 10105 is the latest one that I can install that works.

Now hopefully I can fully retire my old phone.

Pankkipalvelujen (OP) käyttäminen ei onnistu. Joudun hankkimaan toisen laitteen voidakseni hoitaa pankkiasioita.

Hello and welcome! In this forum we do all communication (expect language specific threads) in english so everyone can understand. Please search OP-mobiili thread and continue discussion in there

Hi! Installing OP mobiili version 84.0.0 (10105) from the Aurora shop and using this will get it working.

Eli toimii kyllä mutta pitää vähän säätää :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:

Or you could do online banking through the browser as well.

Sorry just could not help myself for writing that.

People keep saying this, but browser doesn’t do it for authentication, which at least to me is by far the most important use of the app.

Fair point, I guess it comes down to what one considers “banking services” and what are nice and must-haves.

In Finland, we can’t do banking in browser without first approving the login with the bank app… I think country specific problems

I think all banks here require verification for online card payments unless it’s something I use regularly. Government services use bank auth as well. I could ask the bank for a code device or a paper code list if they still offer it, but those solutions aren’t great.

Do we have any latest info, what might be the root cause or tweak idea for latest OP Mobiili get to work? Most probably we might need some SFOS tweak because in /e/ OS (android fork) latest OP Mobiili works. First I was thinking Google integrity check as root cause but then /e/ OS wouldn’t work either.

Even for OP you can still a use printed list of key codes (avainlukulista) to log in, it’s only that if you have used mobile key in the past you need to visit your bank in person to disable it and recieve your first list of keys.

So it’s a 3 way street, you could either switch banks, switch to a printed key list or switch back to supported phone depending on how much you value the freedom from the duopoly and the 1 minute it takes to look up a key from the list compared to using a login pin.

It’s not a country issue, it’s a minor (or major) inconvenience, but definitely one that the bank chose to cause considering most banks in Finland do have a working app.

Yeah I do the paper code list for banking and use mobiilivarmenne for other stuff. It’s true that the code list can be a bit cumbersome, but I only need to do it once a week or something like that, so it’s not a problem for me personally.

En löydä aurora kaupasta muuta versiota kuin v85.0.1 (10127)

MOD EDIT DEEPL TRANSLATION: I can’t find any other version of Aurora in the store other than v85.0.1 (10127)

You can select to download different versions from the Aurorastore, application “…” menu.

Eli toimivan version saa ladattua pistevalikosta.

Hi. I cannot even find OP-Mobile in Aurora store. What can I do?

You can try with other SFOS UI-language. For example using English UK or Finnish it’s there, English US it’s not.

Cool thanks! Changing Aurora Store language to Finnish helped.

OP mobiili doesn’t work after the latest update. Whenever I try to sign in, it returns to the login screen after a few seconds.
