so, new sounds are really lovely, especially the kaamos black ones, but, every set of sound misses the chat and the alarm sound, and it’s a shame cause those new sounds are lovely

Anyhow, you can select any sound for any function.
And there’s an endless supply of already existing phone sound collections.

There are new sound themes for each of the available TOHs. They don’t come with sounds for the aforementioned functions.
I believe you should be able to download them yourself on your non-JP2. “Jolla Ringtone Project” in the Jolla Store.

Could you edit the title of the post to make it a feature request to add those sounds? I was also surprised that the new ambiences had no specific sounds for ‘chat’ and ‘alarm’ like all the previous ones. ‘Chat’ I can understand, because phone use has changed a lot since 2013 and having separate tones for SMS and any other kind of message is no longer as ‘important’, but calendar reminders and clock alarms have a very different purpose.

If you mean
then that is one option, although I personally hate the things with a vengeance.
And I prefer to keep coding and alcohol separate, so for me it would be more like alcohol - coding - alcohol - coding - alcohol - coding - alcohol - coding - alcohol - coding -------- and suddenly the days are getting longer again.

Great addition with the reference. But your use of “btw” feels a bit odd in “It’s kaamos btw, not kamoos.”, since I silently corrected your spelling in my answer so that you could correct it in your post, now it feels like you needed to correct me. 
yes but ringtone project is only present from 5.2, not in 5.1…

The tasks include taking junk cars to the mechanic, delivering firewood on a tractor-pulled trailer, using a vacuum truck to empty the septic tanks of neighbors, making and selling kilju, picking strawberries in a field, and picking up an intoxicated neighbor from the town pub early in the morning.
