So programs like Opera are no longer working on mobile data after downloading the latest OS update.
The Jolla browser wotks but I get a message that the jolla browser will stop working on the jolla site… thst is notba good look. Anyone know whsts going 0n?
It is a bit outdated but there will be an update of the engine with next os version 5.2
Just wanted to add to this…. I checked the Appsupport settings and I see a lot of options… but no matter what I do or change, Android apps no longer work with mobile data on the Xperia 10 IIII.
If I connect to WIFI the apps work fine but if I don’t have wifi and have to use mobile data. The Android apps will not connect to the internet.
Did the update break this or is this some sort of new limitation for the Xperia 10 III?
I am currently running version 5.1.0.8.
I kinda wish I did not update, WIFI is not something that is always available where I go. It like sometimes these update put me in a sweet spot and things work… other times they seem to break things that use to work.
I would like to hear from other Xperia 10 III users on this? Thanks!
I have not updated my 10 III yet, but notice the same behavior in 5.0.0.77. Only when I make internet connection through SFOS apps, I get android app connection …

yeah I wish I did not do the update. The 10-3 was working half way decent on the previous version. Now having android app using mobile data is broken… its a real hassle.

Ok I found the vpn from the menu but I have no clue how to populate it.
Sorry, I should of been more specific. I was wondering if the Roaming Data setting (as mentioned in the linked post) might have anything to do with your mobile data issue?

gotcha no I have tried everything , what blows my mind is that the jolla browser works with my mobile data… before the update so did the Android stuff. now the only way Android works if I connect to WiFi and that is not viable when looking at personal stuff… and the jolla browser shows out of date not meeting the sites requirements. So now im out of luck.
I dont see many comment from others reporting this as an issue so I must be the only one with the issue, figures lol
