Canadian provider challenges

This question is for Canadian users of Sailfish. How do you do it?

I purchased an Xperia XA@ H3113 in the hope of finding a provider who would support it after I had installed Sailfish. It turned out that (1) no Canadian providers whitelist Xperia models, and (2) G3 is being phased out of my area by the end of 2025.

So there seems to be no way to use an XA2 or any other model with Sailfish in Canada. Am I missing something here? I am not a techie, so please bear with me.

Last year while visiting family, I was unable to use my xperia 10iii with rogers or chattr. This flumoxed me since I’ve never had issues in Europe. I tried my volla phone as well, and that made no difference. This is just anecdotal, but it seemed like a pretty big dead end. But, flying was an utter nightmare, too, so it just seemed natural :frowning:
