I mounted the protector onto my new Jolla phone yesterday and I saw bubbles, which didn’t go away with a credit card.
Today they are gone. I read the material is often porous and may let air through slowly.

Out of curiosity, as I believe many are wondering: did you remove both protective layers from the screen before applying the protector? There is the “obvious” one that is meant to be taken off, and then there is a “basic” plastic film protection pre-applied that serves as a substitute for anyone not planning to install a separate screen protector. This second basic protection is also supposed to be removed before installing the screen protector.

Yeah, they even made a video about it because a lot of people had forgotten to remove that nearly invisible protective film.

The instructions that came with it did not say that. I didn’t remove it. All in all I found the process frightening, because I didn’t feel to know enough about how it works. The method works great - it is well thought out and works very well, but the instructions could be better. For example, they were hard to read through the plastic and I didn’t understand the swipe here instruction (thought it was for cleaning and wondered how that would work, but it seems it was for sticking it to the phone).
I did not forget. I was not instructed to.
