Backup to selfhosted 'cloud'

I would like to backup to a self-hosted ‘cloud’-solution.

The only option available to provide that is Nextcloud, but that seems like overkill for my needs.
Currently I have SeaweedFS running to provide a webdav-environment to backup my GrapheneOS on.
It would be nice to be able to use that solution for this.
If there is another (lightweight) solution that would be great too.

If there is a possibility I missed, I am new to Sailfish and did not find it (I did look :wink: )

There’s several options, none of them will involve something built in.

Search for:

  • davfs
  • rclone
  • syncthing

on these forums.

In principle, the built-in backup can support plugins, so a Generic WebDAV backup target could be implemented, but currently we don’t have that.
