What might happened? Suddenly Aurora store updates are visible but when you click any app ‘update’ button, nothing happens. Is this known issue? I have still Aurora store 4.5.1 version.
Should I let Fdroid to make Aurora store update or not?
Yes update from aurora i found that the Jolla store app is outdated and doesnt work

I have the 4.8.4, but today haven’t been able to update anything. So today might just be bad day for aurora(?)

In my experience Aurora Store sometimes have some difficulties to update apps. Then I have just waited and I have succeeded.
Today I ran into same. Updated Aurora Store via FDroid (as suggested). Same again, nothing happens. 15 minutes later everything is ok.
So, just try later.

The quirks of the Aurora store, you learn to live with them… Sometimes the store won’t open, because you can’t log in or downloads don’t work, etc., and then everything works after a couple of tries, or at the latest after a few hours without you making any changes. In the worst case, the creator releases a new version that fixes compatibility with something Google has changed on their own end.

I had to update Aurora before I could use it. I assume Google changed something, so the store stopped working until they updated Aurora to work with the change.
I’ve been seeing a lot of “Server Busy” errors when downloading apps and updates.
I had 5 updates last night, I updated Patreon then couldn’t update any of the other apps, I kept getting “Server busy please try again later”. I checked the “Downloaded Apps” list and Patreon was still showing as installing, even though it had finished 5 mins ago.
I’m getting exactly the same behaviour on my Android phone, so I’m guessing the issue could be with Aurora Store.
Everyone in aurora group has this issue so yeah, it’s aurora that needs update to fix what’s broken.
Seems to be working at the moment, for now.
No it ain’t, just got another Server Busy error when updating Vivaldi Browser, as suspected 3 of the other apps are still showing as “Installing”.
Like most issues of that type, you can use your Google account or make a new one just for that purpose and use it until it’s fixed or keep using it.
I have Aurora store 4.5.1 on Jolla C2 and the store is functioning.
I now get “Failed to generate session, error code: 502” with Aurora Store 4.8.4 (on Jolla Phone)
Seems to work for me (you don’t say what fails), but I am using a real Google account, not an anonymous one.

I used an anonymous account, and logging in works again, but updating apps is failing… again (it worked for me on Saturday, but not Friday). Aurora Store seems to have few issues over the past couple of days now
I think using a real Google account should avoid most connection/stability problems with the Aurora Store, but you need to make sure it’s not linked to your normal Google account in any way (backup email address, phone number, browser cookies / login sessions shared between both accounts, etc) as Google have a habit of banning all linked Google accounts when they ban an account.
(But I am moving away from Google as much as possible, so if my main Google account was still somehow banned, it wouldn’t be that big of a disaster for me.)

I had the same issue, in the aurora store you can click in the top right gear icon and than a menu appears where you can select Spoof manager. Aurora normally identifies your device as a Jolla Jolla Phone (2026) (AppSupport) in my case. I changed it to Galaxy S25 Ultra and had no problems updating apps. I do use an anonymous account in Aurora.
