Androids secure lockscreen

Hello,

I’ve used heylogin password manager on IOS. I would like to use it on Sailfish, now. After downloading the android app, I need to enable androids “screen lock”. The app does not work with a password, but with this screen lock swift gesture. Is it possible at all, or do I need to switch to another pw manger? What manager do you recommend if using on linux and sailfish?

I hope this is the right subforum. Thank you.

Cheers.

Just give up on trying to make SFOS be Android in such deep intricacies.

There are plenty of threads on both “Android lock code” issues and password managers already.

Yes, you do, and my personal recommendation would be ownKeepass.

Android lockscreen is a known issue, read up here: Unable to set lock pin for Android apps requiring it

As for password manager, I use Nextcloud Passwords via the web UI.
